Volunteers are the backbone of what we do at Eagle’s Wings. Clients interact with volunteers throughout the course of their visit. Some administrative volunteers handle interviews with prospective clients. Front office volunteers assist with filing and cleaning. Many more volunteers are needed to handle duties in the warehouse. We are always in need of people to clean and sort food, stock shelves, bag items, clean and organize the general warehouse area, help distribute food to clients, and, on occasion, unload delivery vehicles during the week or perform daily pick-ups from our local stores.
